Midland Lawrence Plaza is located in the diverse Bendale neighbourhood in east Toronto. Anchored by FreshCo and TD Bank, it serves a busy, family-friendly community. In November 2022, FCR submitted a rezoning application for the first phase of redeveloping the plaza. The plan includes two residential towers (35 and 25 storeys), each with an 8-storey base. It will offer 773 residential units and about 769 square metres of retail space at street level.
The project also includes a new public park and a central open space (POPS) for both residents and the wider community. FreshCo will remain open as part of the redevelopment.
