Midland Lawrence Plaza is located in the diverse Bendale neighbourhood in east Toronto. Anchored by FreshCo and TD Bank, it serves a busy, family-friendly community. The plaza sits at the high-traffic corner of Midland Ave and Lawrence Ave E, with easy TTC access and close to Highway 401, making it highly visible and easy to reach.

In November 2022, FCR submitted a rezoning application for the first phase of redeveloping the plaza. The plan includes two residential towers (35 and 25 storeys), each with an 8-storey base. It will offer 773 residential units and about 769 square metres of retail space at street level.

The project also includes a new public park and a central open space (POPS) for both residents and the wider community. FreshCo will remain open as part of the redevelopment.
